Surprised she took the call....
it's about time.
Yeah, I'm a bit surprised myself. Admittedly, there was a bit of hesitation on her end, though. Something along the lines of, "Mom? Hello? It's Christian. . . your son?"
Startled, she responded, "Sorry, we must not have a good connection." The obvious couldn't have been more clearly stated but we took the high road and moved on to better topics.
all that means is that the next "standoff" has begun. Can you beat your previous record?
